This guy tried to follow every law of the Bible for one year. Very interesting. The experience just confirmed Roman 3:19-20: Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight
From reading a physics book this week, I learned that Nicolaus Copernicus first suggested in the sixteenth century that the Earth revolves around the Sun, instead of the other way around. History told us the society and church at the time didn't like the idea because it was simply too revolutionary and bold. It was hard to believe that we are not in the center of everything. Modern science would eventually prove that to be true and the church admited its fault. The moral? You don't have to be in the center of the universe to be important and loved in God's eyes.
Then today, I heard this CHRISTIAN love song on the radio. The lyrics go like this: I wonder what God was thinking When He created you I wonder if He knew everything I would need... When God made you He must have been thinking about me.
What appears to be a romatic song actually becomes a mirror reflecting our egocentric thoughts. Scientific enlightenments have not changed human nature. Men remain at the center of their universe.
